At Balance Behavioral Health, we believe wellness is multifaceted. We’ve recently added  Julia Martin, a certified personal fitness trainer (CPT) and nutritionist to better address all aspects of your health. Julia recognizes that the wellness journey isn’t one-size-fits-all because your journey is unique to your age, goals, and lifestyle. She understands the difference between what clients want versus what they need.  Julia believes that movement is an important factor in physical and mental wellness and personal expression. She approaches fitness with the simple yet effective belief of teaching her clients basic movements. These can be combined and built upon to produce a routine you can do anywhere. She would love to help you find fun and safe ways to reach your goals! She approaches nutrition with the belief that you don’t have to sacrifice what you love in order to start eating healthy. She works with clients to help make healthy day-to-day choices. Julia develops a sustainable strategy to empower her clients to achieve goals and she will customize your four monthly sessions to suit your ever-changing needs.

Workout plans created specifically with you in mind and executed with our personal trainer to educate you. With equipment in our office and Riverside Park nearby, we have both indoor andoutdoor space for workouts, following CDC guidance during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Meet in our office to discuss meal plans
and nutrition. Our nutritionist can make
specific meal plans or give you a general idea
of what you should be eating and drinking.  Whether you want to focus on calories, food groups, or making healthier choices, she can guide you step by step.

Coaching

Our personal trainer and nutritionist

is here to lead you towards a healthier

lifestyle. With weekly sessions and

our online patient portal, she is 

available with advice and encouragement

for all your questions. Julia is here to help keep

you accountable and on track to meet your

goals!

You can also meet with our CPT and nutritionist for a variety of other activities such as at the grocery store, where she can steer you to a healthier stocked fridge, at home for a cooking session, or even in your home gym for advice on how to get the most out of your home workouts!
